General

The DEC-TESTER is a small portable instrument for measuring the "natural leakage" in small and medium sized diesel engine cylinders with up to approximately 500 mm in diameter.

The "natural leakage" in a cylinder should be as small as possible, preferably next to nothing.

The DEC-TESTER easily detects piston-ring failures, excessive linear wear, leaking valves and other operational problems related to the proper function of the cylinder.

The DEC-TESTER can be used for:

  • DELIVERY CONTROL
  • CONDITION TESTS
  • TREND CONTROL
  • REPAIR CONTROL

Technical

All components are mounted inside a rigid box. The DEC-TESTER is delivered in a practical carrying and storage case.
